About the Speakers
Ellen Porter Honnet, Ed.D.
Psychologist & Director of the Stanley H. King Counseling Institute
Guest speaker Ellen Porter Honnet is a counseling and consulting psychologist with a degree from the Harvard Graduate School of Education, specializing in the impact of transitions and loss, cross-cultural counseling, mindfulness and relationships. She currently serves as a member of the Harvard Business School pilot program as a resource for the academic support services office. In addition to her private practice, Dr. Honnet is the director of the Stanley H. King Counseling Institute, where she helps teachers with their listening skills and other tools useful for building deeper and more meaningful relationships with students and colleagues. She also provides interactive training on deep listening and enhanced communication skills in the workplace.
Kelli A. Adams, CFP®, EA
GW & Wade Financial Counselor
Kelli A. Adams holds a B.S. from the University of New Hampshire and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional. She specializes in providing tax, investment and retirement advice to executives and young professionals. Adams also serves as a co-lead in GW & Wade’s Women and Wealth program. Adams’ primary goal is to help her clients build strong financial futures by guiding them through budgeting, planning and investing, and ultimately helping them to experience a strong sense of financial well-being.
